17 Black (5 years in a row) and 16 Black (2 years in a row) win the Region Championship. This qualifies 16 Black for the National Champtionships June 24 through July 3. |

Club Utah showed great last weekend in Reno highlighted by Team 17 Black, who played in the Gold Medal match in 17 Open and ended up placing 2nd in the tournament and Team 16 Black that advanced to the Gold Medal bracket and placed 12th. Team 17 Gray placed 21st, Team 16 Gray placed 39th. |

We are saddened by the abrupt loss of Juliane Langhaim's son. At the young age of 19, Austin was killed in a skate boarding accident last weekend. Until Juliane can resume normal life again, please know the 12s Black team will be well taken care of by other Club Utah coaching staff for all practices and tournaments.
Juliane has asked that in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Langhaim family to help the youth of the Philippines. They hope to purchase scriptures and school supplies for those in desperate need. Also, if you have any favorite stories of Austin that you would like to share, please email them and any photos to langhaim@aol.com |
